Raising awareness on social issues creates the space for answers which will provide men with the proper resources to combat the social concerns in a successful manner. Gun violence is not the number one killer in the urban communities.

Brotherly Love Cut Up
The RAO25 Brotherly Love Cut Up Event is a community-driven initiative designed to uplift and support school-aged youth in North Lawndale, Englewood, Austin, and Garfield neighborhoods. Hosted in partnership with a local barbershop, this event provides essential services, mentorship, and positive engagement that strengthen confidence, promote academic success, and reinforce the values of brotherhood and community pride.
Brotherly Love Cut Up
The purpose of the Brotherly Love Cut Up Event is to create a safe, empowering space for youth to receive guidance, resources, and encouragement. The event aims to:
- Provide free haircuts to help youth feel confident and school-ready.
- Offer breakfast and lunch to ensure participants are nourished throughout the day.
- Connect youth with successful Black male professionals and community leaders.
- Deliver impactful messaging on brotherhood, financial literacy, academics, community engagement, relationships, and overall health.
- Strengthen community unity through positive interactions and mentorship.
