Melvin Little

Melvin Little is the president and co-founder of RAO 25, RAO 25 is a  501(c)(3) non profit organization. RAO 25 recognized the importance of providing quality service and support to our communities. They understand the impact they have on the youth and many of the adults in the communities. While being recognized amongst others as impactful figures in the community, they took action by partnering with various organizations to provide holiday meals, Christmas gifts for youth, mentoring programs, and various assistance to members of our      communities.                       


Melvin was born and raised on the west side of Chicago in the North Lawndale Community. He received education in the 299 school district. Growing up in his neighborhood, Melvin has always been an advocate for himself and his friends against the elders when they were being accused of wrongdoing. He would always come up with different ideas to earn income at an age too young to legally work.


For 20-years, Melvin served as a partner to Unilever, one of the largest food manufacturing companies in North America. Starting at an entry level position as a material handler, Melvin soon learned other jobs thru out the facility and was quickly promoted to a machine operators position. His leadership and passion for advocating led to his co-workers electing him as their Chief Union steward within 5 yrs of  his partnership with Unilever.


Melvin served as their Chief Union steward for more than 10 years. He used his skills to create a better partnership between union workers and upper management. He was instrumental with establishing a 4 yr. apprenticeship program that provided unionized employees an opportunity to advance their careers in becoming an industrial maintenance mechanic. He assisting in negotiating contracts and advocated for more than 100 Union members. He later took advantage of  the program by attending Joliet Junior Community College for his apprenticeship program classes where he obtained his certification as an industrial maintenance mechanic advancing his career and became a certified industrial maintenance mechanic for the company.


Melvin Little is a business agent for UFCW Local 1546 located in Chicago, Illinois where he also serves on the executive board as a Vice President. He represent over 1,500 Union members for the local, where he assists in negotiating contracts for members in the health care and grocery retail working sectors.These contracts for the members are negotiated upon and consist of but not limited to:better wages, better working conditions, and benefits such as heath insurance, pensions, paid time off, and a list of other benefits. 


As one of the founders and the President of RAO 25, Melvin has been instrumental in creating several of RAO  25 programs, partnerships, and community relationships. When Melvin is not with his family, he enjoys the outdoors, using his hands on home projects, building motor bikes, reading books, and fixing on his cars as a hobby. 


Patrick Daniels

Patrick Bill Daniels is a director, consultant, community organizer, and an adjunct professor. His

focus of studies are Social Work and Criminal Justice.

Patrick Bill is the founder of the Bill & Margie Daniels Foundation. The Bill & Margie Daniels

Foundation is committed to addressing food insecurity, providing affordable housing, and

awarding scholarships to youth from Chicago.

Patrick Bill serves on several boards of directors. He has provided consulting services for

nonprofit and for-profit companies.

Patrick Bill is a founding member of RAO 25 and has served in several roles with RAO 25. He

brings over 15 years of organizational management, program development and implementation,

fundraising experience, and brand building to RAO 25.

Patrick Bill has a Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. During his

time at University of Illinois at Chicago, Patrick served as the president of the We Are Men

(WAM) initiative. While serving as the president, the university witness an increase in African

American men enrolling in Jane Addams School of Social Work.

When Patrick Bill is not working in the community, he enjoy time with his family, cycling,

reading, UFC training, and exploring various cultures, communities, and restaurants in Chicago.

Lee Travis

Anton Williams

 

Anton Williams was born and raised on the west side of Chicago in the North Lawndale community. Anton Williams holds an Associate in Business Administration from Indian Hills Community College.

Anton brings over 20 years of work experience with him to RAO 25. He is a skilled mechanical and electrical technician. He has a background in finance and recently served as a program logic controller.

Anton is a skilled carpenter and certified maintenance technician who has worked on several major construction projects in Illinois and Iowa.

Anton continues to support his community through his philanthropic efforts. Anton has supported community events in the North Lawndale area geared toward youth development and academic support.

Anton is a founding member of RAO 25.

When Anton is not working on RAO 25 projects, he is spending time with his family and friends.

Calvin Henry

 

Calvin Henry is a man of many talents and skills. He is known for his charisma and style. Many of his talents have led to multiple opportunities to impact his family, friends, and his community positively. Calvin is a person who values supporting his family in accomplishing their goals.

Calvin’s skills were on full display when he taught himself how to operate an 18-wheeler truck. This led to Calvin working for one of the largest trucking and logistics companies in North America.

Calvin is a philanthropist and mentor to many of the young men in his community. Through his philanthropic efforts, Calvin has supported and sponsored back-to-school events, and youth programming events, and has assisted families who were in need with job placement opportunities. This effort was on full display as Calvin assisted several men from his community with employment opportunities.

Calvin serves as an advocate for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. He continues to go the distance in support of breast cancer walks in Chicago through his participation. Calvin understands that his steps are powerful to further the research for breast cancer, to care for women, to support the community, and to act as an advocate for breast cancer survivors.

Calvin is a founding member of RAO 25. 

When Calvin is not traveling throughout the United States, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Eric Williams

Eric Williams is a successful father, philanthropist, mentor, and entrepreneur. He served as a

mentor to many youth and emerging adults from the North Lawndale community in Chicago.

In 2020, Eric started Wheels to Williams Transportation. His goal is to provide employment

opportunities and resources to men and women living in underserved communities who are

returning to society. Through his effort and commitment, Eric continues to provide support to

men and women seeking opportunities to improve their lives.

Through his philanthropic work, Eric has sponsored back-to-school events, food distribution

events, youth summer programming, and financial support to families that were in need.

Eric is a devoted family man. He values his time with his children and the activities they enjoy as

a family. One of Eric’s greatest accomplishments was attending college tours with his children,

hosting trunk parties, and driving his children to college.

Eric is a founding member of RAO 25.

When Eric is not exploring business opportunities and enhancing the quality of service to his

customers, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Melissa English


Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an Apprenticeship in Digital Marketing Track from Co-op Career. Her technical skills include Google Analytics, Tableau, Looker Studio, Microsoft Office, Adobe

Suite, Python, Excel, HTML5, and CSS.


Melissa is the owner and operator of Agile Mediaz. Melissa has created marketing and social media campaigns for nonprofit organizations, solo entrepreneurs, micro-enterprises, and alike to increase follower growth, create engaging content, manage online communities, and develop creative, cost-effective marketing strategies. 


As the oldest child, Melissa is not a stranger to leading. She created her upbringing on the West Side of Chicago due to her dedication and passion for giving back to her community. 


When Melissa is not working, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, attending community events, and barbecuing with friends.


Antonio Hall

Antonio Hall is a family man, philanthropist, and mentor and has many additional talents. Antonio was raised on the West Side of Chicago, in the North Lawndale community. Antonio has served as an ally to RAO 25 for over 20 years. 

Antonio is currently employed with Paper Source, Inc. in Forest Park, IL, where he serves as a lead on his team and with the company. He is a valued coworker who possesses time management skills, and quality control. 

Antonio attended Northeastern Illinois College, majoring in general studies and business management. Antonio brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the RAO 25 Advisory Board. 


One talent is his love for photography. Antonio uses his passion and excitement for photography to bring joy to the lives of many from the lens of his camera. 

When Antonio is not working, he volunteers at community food distribution centers or creating

memories for people with his camera

Anthony Hurley

Anthony Hurley is a Controller for Chartwell Higher Education, currently serving one of Chartwell’s largest clients, the University of Chicago. Before joining Chartwells, Anthony was the Senior Accountant for the Fifty/50 Group, Bank Financial and has worked at the senior level throughout multiple industries in his career so far.


Anthony has over 15 years of experience in accounting and finance, including Budgeting and Forecasting, Month-end close processes, Revenue and Cost accounting, Inventory analysis, Accounts Receivable and Collections, as well as establishing and monitoring internal controls and methods for financial growth and improvement. Combined with an Operations Management background and over 10 years of experience, Anthony is a proven asset to any team.


Anthony has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration/Accounting from Robert Morris University Illinois and a Master of Science in Accounting from Northeastern Illinois University. Anthony is also CPA eligible. 

When Anthony is not working, he enjoys movies with his family, Anime, music and video games, and spending time traveling with his friends.
